Bodyguard for White House gatecrasher Michaele Salahi busted with gun
A bodyguard traveling with the reality star well-known for crashing a White Home party was arrested Sunday at LaGuardia Airport for carrying a gun, officials explained.
The gun was found in a lockbox inside luggage labeled as belonging to Michaele Salahi, a former star of “The Actual Housewives of D.C.,” according to a Port Authority spokesman.
Bodyguard Richard Surrency was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree about 10:35 a.m., the PA spokesman said. Surrency mentioned the bag was mislabeled and the gun was his.
Salahi was traveling with the bodyguard and Journey guitarist Neal Schon to Nashville exactly where Schon is recording a solo album, according to TMZ.
“All three have been called back to the screening spot,” the PA spokesman explained. “[Surrency] was interviewed and arrested.”
The bodyguard had a permit to carry a concealed weapon but was apparently unaware it prohibited him from carrying the gun into an airport, according to TMZ.

Lauren Alaina has premiered the music video for her new single ‘Georgia Peaches’.
The teenager, who finished as runner-up on the tenth season of American Idol, unveiled the 2nd track to be lifted from her Wildflower album on CMT.
Speaking about filming the video, she said: “Creating the ‘Georgia Peaches’ video was a blast. I got to have some of my closest close friends in the video. We had been laughing and possessing a great time all through the evening. I enjoy that I was able to have them there.
