BET bans Nicki Minaj’s ‘Stupid Hoe’ video

Like Ciara and the Game before her, Nicki Minaj is seeing her latest music video — the vibrant, Hype Williams-directed “Stupid Hoe” – banned from BET.
Though the network hasn’t officially cited specific reasons behind the move, a rep confirmed to TMZ that the clip would not be airing on the channel due to its general explicit nature. Sorry, delicate BET viewers!
The single, taken from the raptrix’s forthcoming Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (out April 3), prominently features the line “you a stupid hoe,” and the bonkers video is haunted by a floating, disembodied bare booty.
If you absolutely demand to see Minaj on television, however, she will be performing this weekend at what’s in theory one of the most family-friendly venues in America, the Super Bowl. Hopefully for NBC’s sake, all booties will be draped and attached to their rightful owners.

Adele To Perform At The 54th Grammy Awards

Mastodon’s Metal Montage
Purveyors of fine heavy metal will revel in Mastodon‘s new music video. Their grungy sound is gloriously acknowledged as ‘sludge metal’ and this clip for new single Dry Bone Valley has been tailored to match.
Directed and animated by Tim Biskup, it combines all that is very good and holy about heavy metal video clips madness, the devil, insane eyes and the slight chance of upsetting religious sentiment. The clip is a montage which changes according to the beat of the song, and combines human faces, cubist masks, trees, intricate white outlined beasts, religious imagery and medieval tableaux in a constantly revolving display.

Drake Not Recording New Common Diss Record, Shuts Down Beef

Drake has lastly addressed the Typical beef expressing that he has no plans to continue to the ongoing feud among the two rappers.
Typical and Drake have taken center stage over the previous handful of weeks with their back and forth hip hop beef. Following Widespread took shots with ‘Sweet’ on his ‘The Dreamer, The Believer’ album, the two went back and forth a couple of times with the ball staying left in Drake’s court immediately after Frequent dropped a ‘Stay Schemin’ remix unloading on Drake.
It turns out that Drake has absolutely no intention of responding, and has moved on to recording new music for his upcoming album. Drizzy did have some words to say in an interview with NahRight in regards to the hip hop beef with Widespread, and no matter whether or not he would respond.
