Mack 10 Undergoes Surgery For Stomach Ailments

Mack 10 is in good condition, after undergoing surgery to treat ongoing stomach problems.
As previously reported, the West Coast rap veteran was ailing from Diverticulitis, a condition which caused swelling of an abnormal pouch in the intestinal wall.
The statement released by his publicist reads:
“Rapper Mack 10, who was hospitalized a week ago after suffering severe stomach pains, had surgery yesterday. Six inches of the problem area in his stomach were removed. The surgery was successful and the rapper is expected to fully recover. He will remain in the hospital under the care of doctors for 10 more days. Mack 10 will complete his recovery at home with the support of family and close friends.”

Mississippi Republicans Want To Ban Interracial Marriage
A recent poll conducted by Public Policy Polling determined that 46 percent of Republican voters in Mississippi think interracial marriage should be illegal.
The North Carolina-based Public Policy Polling firm, which conducts polls to gauge voter preferences, also reported 40 percent of Mississippi Republicans think interracial marriage should remain legal, while the other 14 percent were unsure.
The PPP poll released on Thursday, included 400 Mississippi GOP voters, in addition found Governor of Mississippi Haley Barbour as the most favorable potential Presidential nominee candidate.
Despite the fact that it is 2011, interracial marriages in the United States are at an all-time high, and our current President is interracial, the findings of this poll are surprising, to say the least.

Toddler Mistakenly Served Alcohol at Applebee’s
An Applebee’s restaurant in Detroit, Michigan served the son of Taylor Dill-Reese alcohol in his sippy cup. Dominic, a 15-month-old boy began to say hi and bye to the walls and appeared to be sleepy when his mother got suspicious of the beverage.
What they thought was apple juice turned out to be margarita mix and the boy was rushed to the hospital. After being checked out by doctors, the family learned the boy’s blood alcohol level was .10 which is over the legal limit for an adult driver.
“Nobody at the table ordered alcoholic drinks,” said Dill-Reese. “So, he definitely shouldn’t have received one.”
Applebee’s is currently conducting an investigation although legal action hasn’t been taken yet.

Tyler Perry Buys New Home For 88-Year-Old Fire Victim And Her Seven Grand And Great-Grandchildren
Tyler Perry is continuing to aid those in need with his philanthropy, this time by buying a new home for a woman that lost everything in a fire.
Perry handed the keys to a new home this weekend to 88-year-old Rosa Lee Ransby of Newnan, Georgia who lives with her seven grand- and great-grandchildren.
Ransby first captured the filmmaker’s attention in December after he heard that she lost her home in a fire just a week before Christmas.
Perry saw the story on a local television newscast and decided to rebuild the house. He also fully furnished it.
