Unfortunately, followers of Glambert and glam rock will not be coming with each other this summer season. Adam Lambert has taken to Twitter to deny latest reports that he is going on tour with legendary rock outfit, Queen.

“Oooh them clever reporters takin my estimates outta context…. I haven’t confirmed any guest appearances. I was talking about the EMA’S,” Lambert tweeted. While careful to clarify the reports, it doesn’t mean Lambert was necessarily upset by them. He followed with, “That becoming explained, I’m really flattered by your jump to such glorious conclusions mr journalist!!”

Following an interview, British newspaper the Daily Star reported that Lambert would be filling in for Queen’s fallen frontman Freddie Mercury. “The intention is to spend tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some f—ing great songs,” Lambert reportedly stated. “It’s to maintain the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would have been proud of.” We can see how that could effortlessly be a quote about his EMA functionality with the band — something the newspaper almost certainly must have created a bit far more clear.

Later in the article, Lambert says, “After the EMAs, I heard faint little slithers of a backlash from folks saying: ‘You can’t replace Freddie Mercury.’ But I already knew that,” Lambert continued. “There’s no intention in my mind of replacing Freddie. That’s unattainable. The way I’m choosing to view it is that it’s a excellent honour and a single I’m in no way going to shirk.”

Lambert is now raising inquiries to the authenticity of the last quote. The ever-cheeky ‘American Idol‘ alum tweeted, “Anyone know what ‘shirk’ means?”

The Aerosmith frontman and “American Idol” judge endured plenty of jabs immediately after his rendition of the anthem at the AFC Championship game final month, but Tyler says he does not understand what all the fuss was about.

“I don’t know. As I mentioned ahead of, I place emphasis on, ‘In the land of the free’ and I went up,” Tyler explained. “Oddly sufficient I hit the note so I really don’t know what they are speaking about. “He is Canadian so I have had to switch his focus from so a lot hockey to a small football due to the fact we watch a lot of hockey,” she said. “I enjoy watching him and I adore viewing the Predators.”

The complete audio and  video for initial single, “Give Me All Your Luvin’,”  premieres on Friday as properly, but on Thursday evening we got a little taste during “American Idol.”  The video clearly plays into the Super Bowl theme with each Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. acting as cheerleaders (surrounded by cheerleaders in white masks), while Madonna, clad in a trench coat and pushing a pram, ditches the child and the coat for a tiny black number as the faceless football gamers claw at her.

On Friday, Madonna will be inescapable. Clear Channel Entertainment will blast the single from 95 of its 850  radio stations, even though the video will air on electronic billboard and on the web outlets. CCE president Bob Pittman, who was head of MTV in the ’80s when Madonna broke big, told the Linked Press that it was a “firstof-its type, multi-media premiere.”

Mark Ingram: He operates at the hotel where the auditions took spot and sang a Stevie Wonder song although dressed in his uniform. He was, um, decent’ish. The judges wanted to say “yes,” but he couldn’t carry the tune or hold a melody. He had infectious power, but he didn’t get upstreamed.

Lauren Gray: Gray’s loved ones owns a 1-quit wedding shop. Regardless of staying brought up with country music, she, like Ethan Jones prior to her, didn’t go that route, rather singing Adele‘s ‘One and Only.’ Oh, you wanna sing an Adele song? If so, you better bring it. It was brought.

Portland is a pop culture hot bed. PopCrush is thrilled to present your handy recap of what went down in Portland. There have been a couple of Brits, a former refugee, lots of tall soul and a handful of freaks. Of course there have been.

Brittany Zika: She’s ‘Tripster the Hipster,’ and sang an abundantly quite edition of a Brandi Carlile song, wore rain gear and espoused her love for Sara Bareilles – with whom she sang on stage right after holding up a sign at one of Sara’s present. Dreams do come accurate. Possibly her ‘Idol’ dream will, too? (We know, that rhymed like Dr. Seuss.)

Ben Purdom: This 18-year-outdated from Philly attempted to use his deep (and odd) baritone to turn ‘Born This Way’ and ‘Super Bass’ into display tunes. Uh, no. He blamed a cold for his significantly less-than-stellar performance. It is always the cold’s fault.

Jermaine Jones: He’s super tall – 6’8” and a half — and even said “Don’t take away my half.” His voice was as huge as he is, with a bellowing, booming tone. He supplied up a spiritual and impressive edition of ‘Superstar’ and we’ll see him once more.

Britnee Kellog: She’s a young and cute mom of two boys, who was married for a bit. Her ex held her back from undertaking what she needed to do. She pursued his dreams … Right up until now. She cried just before she even sang a note of ‘You’re No Very good,’ which fit her story. She funneled all of her discomfort and stunted growth into her performance and utterly blossomed.

Sam Gershman: Sam was a a single-act display, with a perky personality. She sang a bizarre, vibrato edition of ‘I’m a Woman’ and she employed her hands to make her factors. It was a minor also Broadway. She belongs on a stage …. Just not the ‘Idol’ one particular.

David Weed: What a last title, huh? He’s from Idaho and operates in the quick food business. He sang Rush‘s ‘Tom Sawyer…’ if you can call it singing. He was a no go.

Romeo Diahn: He lived in a refugee camp in Liberia, but has flavor and soul. It may well be a minor too left of center for the mainstream ‘Idol’ crowd, but he is obtaining a likelihood to prove himself.

Naomi Gillies: Naomi got some brownie factors by tackling ‘Cryin’‘ by Aerosmith. She missed a handful of notes all through her perf, but the judges loved her.

Ben Harrison: Boy, does platinum-haired Ben have an intense baby face. He’s 28, but looks 11. He says he gets kicked out of bands due to the fact he appears young. The judges said possibly he keeps getting the boot due to the fact he’s just not excellent. Appears like the latter is the a lot more valid argument.

Jessica Phillips: This Brooklynite’s boyfriend had a substantial stroke last Easter and now she has a complete new sense of duty, taking care of him and loving him all the same. She sang ‘Again‘ by Faith Evans and she was grooving and very good so she is moving on.
