Lady Gaga’s 2010 VMA Meat Dress Moment Revisited … By Adorable Puppies

It was one particular of the most outrageous moments in MTV Video Music Awards history. Lady Gaga had already won a boat load of awards by the time the evening’s final prize for Video of the Year was handed out. So it was no surprise when Cher, looking unnaturally fit and fantastic at 63 in her “If I Could Turn Back Time” bodysuit, announced “Bad Romance” as the winner.

What was surprising, nonetheless, was Gaga’s outfit. As she ascended to the stage to claim her prize, the world lastly got a clear look at the pop star’s third outfit of the evening … a dress manufactured completely of raw meat. But ahead of she could take hold of the Moonman and give her acceptance speech, Gaga had to hand off her purse, which was also produced of meat. “I never ever believed I’d be asking Cher to hold my meat purse,” Gaga mentioned, and with that, a legendary VMA second was born.

To celebrate this and other historic VMA moments, our friends at Buzzworthy decided to have a tiny fun. A team of impossibly imaginative funny men and women made the decision to reenact some of the most memorable VMA moments … making use of adorable small dogs as stand-ins for some of the world’s most renowned musicians. Above, you will find the initial of these – an homage to the meat purse-holding diva enjoyable from last year’s awards.

Study on for a search at Gaga’s background with the VMAs.

Lil Wayne On ‘Forbes Best Paid Celebrities Under 30′ Taking Home $15 Million In 2010

Post by Chelle Jones, Jun 15, 2011 at 3:26 am

Lil Wayne 300x200 Lil Wayne On ‘Forbes Best Paid Celebrities Under 30′ Taking Home $15 Million In 2010Lil Wayne has been killing the rap game for a minute now, and has managed to be a part of the Forbes list comprised of 20 celebrities that are the best paid under the age of 30. This all despite being locked up for almost the entirety of 2010.

The 28 year old Young Money front man has had the successes of his signed artists, including break outs Nicki Minaj and Drake to thank for keeping popularity in 2010 growing for the label. Weezy also dropped his rock based album-flop in February of 2010, which most likely contributed a portion of his $ 15 Milli sum.

It will be interesting to see how the YMCMB main man’s money will compare as he topples the age limit of this list next year. With the hugely anticipated Tha Carter 4 album still to be released (August 29) and being a free man surely can’t hurt either.

Also making appearances on the Forbes list were Lady Gaga (at no. 1), Justin Bieber, Dwyane Wade, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, and Beyoncé Knowles (despite her year long hiatus as well).

Spring Music Preview 2010

By Rolling Stone

March 23, 2011 7:50 AM ET

From Katy Perry and Stone Temple Pilots to MGMT and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, some of 2010′s most anticipated albums are hitting stores this season. Big debuts from Court Yard Hounds and Drake are due, along with eagerly awaited releases by Christina Aguilera, Hole, the Hold Steady and Gaslight Anthem. Read up on 38 of the spring’s discs.

March
Justin Bieber

MY WORLD 2.0 3/23
Just four months after releasing his debut, teen phenom Justin Bieber is rolling out the follow-up. “With My World, I was a rookie,” says the singer. “I’m still a rookie, but I think of this album as an upgrade, a step above.” The disc — produced by hitmakers Tricky Stewart and Bryan-Michael Cox — leans R&B, from its influences (Boyz II Men, Usher, Anthony Hamilton) to its theme. “I’m not allowed to have a girlfriend until I’m over 16,” says Bieber, who reached the milestone on March 1st. “But I wrote a lot about girls.”

Goldfrapp
HEAD FIRST 3/23
Written and recorded in six months, the fifth album from London electropop duo Goldfrapp is a return to the luxurious beatwork that made them dance-floor darlings and Xtina’s studio pals. Heavily influenced by the pillowy atmospherics of Giorgio Moroder and Suicide, Head First is a soft-focus haze smeared with a newfound, ABBA-esque positivity. “I wasn’t very happy before,” says frontwoman Alison Goldfrapp. “We’ve done introspective, we wanted to make an ‘up’ album.”
