Adele’s ’21′ album has sold over 6.39 million copies in the US and remained atop the Billboard 200 for 19 weeks so it is difficult to think that she has carried out small promotion for the record in the course of the last few months. However, the recluse singer sat down with ’60 Minutes’ to go over the accomplishment of the project and the surgical procedure that nearly derailed her occupation.

Speaking to ’60 Minutes’ host Anderson Cooper about the tumultuous ending of 2011, Adele exposed that she could not even speak for weeks following undergoing laser surgery to take away a polyp from her vocal cords. Nevertheless, she somehow found a way to make the greatest of the circumstance and still have entertaining.
