Bruno Mars Releases ‘It Will Rain’ From Twilight ‘Breaking Dawn’ Soundtrack [AUDIO]

Last week it was revealed that Bruno Mars would be sharing the first track off of the Twilight “Breaking Dawn” soundtrack, with his specially written track “It Will Rain.” Now it’s here, and tomorrow marks the day when the full tracklist for the soundtrack is revealed.

The cover art is equally as stunning as the song still staying true to Bruno Mars form, with a dark yet retro colorful vibe. The rain is depicted as different color marbled drippings down the front while the silhouette of Bruno slouches in a chair holding an umbrella.

When speaking of the song, Mars recalled it being on the dark side of love, similar to the movies– and shared that he watched most of the newest Twilight movie before penning the entire song. The song stays true to that notion made by Mars, and features plenty of lines that describe the difficult strains on the love between Edward and Bella.

Check it out below and let us know, is this song fitting for the Twilight “Breaking Dawn” movie? Where do you think “It Will Rain” will play in the movie?

Bruno Mars Readies Dark Track For Twilight ‘Breaking Dawn’ Soundtrack Titled ‘It Will Rain’

As all of the “twi-hards” prepare for the next installment in the Twilight saga movies this November 18th, 2011– singer Bruno Mars is hard at work on creating a dramatic tune for the film’s soundtrack. Titled “It Will Rain,” Bruno will undoubtedly be stepping in with his emotional, bluesy vocals to create a raw track.

Bruno Mars will share the track Tuesday, just after the full tracklisting to the soundtrack is shared with the public. He described his song as ”… the darker side of love. I think that pretty much sums it up.”

There’s currently no word as to where the song will be placed in the actual movie, so it’s hard to say just what the song might sound like. Mars does share that he has seen most of the movie, which helped him to develop the song thoroughly to create a piece that he feels is perfect for the Twilight setting.

Get ready for ”It Will Rain” September 27, which will also be for sale exclusively via iTunes right away. And if you haven’t caught the “Breaking Dawn” trailer, peep it below.

9:31: Even after five decades in the spotlight (think about that), Bob Dylan is still the best at most everything. He may have lost a step, but he remains naturally charismatic and powerful. “Maggie’s Farm” is a great song choice.

9:28: People who tuned in to see Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Rihanna are probably pretty confused by the number of banjos and beards on stage right now. Still, both Mumford & Songs and Avett Brothers deserve to be heard, and this is by far their biggest exposure yet.
