Chuck Brown, a pioneer of Washington, D.C.’s Go-Go music scene, died today at the age of 75, reports WJLA. Brown had been sick for some time, and was hospitalized with pneumonia last week.
Brown, a guitarist and singer, was recognized to fans as the Godfather of Go-Go. He played in bands given that the Sixties, but broke by way of in the late Seventies as Go-Go, a subgenre of funk, blew up in the D.C. music scene.

Lady Gaga “Devil’s Messenger”, Ready To Die To Stop Performance

Islamic extremists in Jakarta, Indonesia, are not pleased with Lady Gaga and have announced that they will gladly die to avert her from executing in their city.
Members of the FPI, or Islamic Defenders Front, have proclaimed the superstar to be the “devil’s messenger,” citing that she wears small far more than her “bra and knickers” on stage. The group claims that the singer’s influence will corrupt the nation’s youth and pulled the plug on the display.
