The ultra-talented teen, Real name Jasmine Van Den Bogaerde, plays piano as
she performs a soothing edition of 1901, initially carried out by French rock
band Phoenix.
The emotional video plays out the story of a couple encountering trouble with
their relationship.
It is the fourth release from her debut album, which entered the charts at
No.13 last November – higher than seasoned chart rival Pixie Lott.
Speaking about the recording approach of 1901, Birdy said, “When I first
started out placing it with each other, I did not assume this a single was going to work,
simply because the authentic by Phoenix is this kind of an upbeat song, and it really is very hard
