PHOTOS: Siobhan Magnus Will Forever Be Season 9’s Queen Of Scream
Last night, we sadly bid adieu to Siobhan Magnus, the glassblowing apprentice who once blew judges minds. Pint-sized Siobhan became known this season for her hurricane-force vocal abilities, the kind that make dogs howl, and the elderly grab their hearing aids and throw them across the room to stop the piercing noise. And while we had to say goodbye too soon to Siobhan, we wanted to pay our respects to Season 9′s Queen Of Scream. Flip through to see Siobhan’s best wailing faces. More »

Coachella releases lost & found list: photos of the weekend’s orphaned cameras, keys and phones
"Any updates on the lost and found process? Really hoping to get my identity back (I lost everything and could barely get on my flight without a cavity search)," reads a post on the "lost and found" message board at Coachella's website, one of many desperate missives sent in the wake of Coachella 2010.
Or this ode to a missing Canon Power Shot:
"There were pictures of my family at a wedding the week before coachella. They were amazing, and so special. Pictures of all the women in my family, I was so excited to have taken them – you never know when you won't see someone again. There are also some pictures from my last day at my job. They're very obviously a going away party – I'm wearing a white top and took pictures with all kinds of people. There are also some pictures of bassnectar at Lucent La'mour."
Well, good news for the absent-minded and locked out: Goldenvoice has released photos of its lost-and-found stash from Coachella 2010 — and apparently a lot of Blackberry owners have slippery hands. Among the dozens of Samsungs, Nokias, and Motorolas are at least four locked iPhones (don't even think about it: "we know wall paper images … you need to identify … we have chargers") and 13 dead or locked Blackberrys. If you've lost a key that's tied to a baby's red tennis shoe, there's good news for you too.
Holy Fuck – “Latin America” Video

The “Latin America” video uses lots of time-lapsed footage and live clips of the band over blurry driving scenes and foreign country explorations. The results are considerably more interesting than Band Of Horses’s time-lapse “NW Apt” video from earlier today. The video was directed by Yoonha Park, who also did Small Black’s excellent “Despicable Dogs” video.

Jewel Shares Laughs, New Music at the Bluebird Cafe
Filed under: Concert News, Country News
Before she was a country star, or even a multi-platinum pop sensation, Jewel was a teenager busking on street corners and singing in bars. Nashville’s singer-songwriter mecca, the Bluebird Café, isn’t exactly your average bar … but for Jewel, who on Wednesday (Apr. 28) played back-to-back shows there, it must have conjured up a feeling of déjà vu. This time, however, she wasn’t performing to inattentive, beer-swilling patrons of some out of the way, smoke-filled honky-tonk. Guests at both Bluebird shows were there to support Jewel’s Project Clean Water, which she founded in 1997. The project has since funded 35 wells in 15 countries on five continents.
Taking the stage solo with a acoustic guitar in hand, the radiant singer engaged the audience immediately, asking them which songs they wanted to hear her play. The nearly 90-minute set at her later show included the familiar hits (‘You Were Meant for Me,’ ‘Who Will Save Your Soul’), along with selections from the singer’s ‘Sweet and Wild’ album, due out June 8 on Valory Music. The disc is her second release aimed especially at country fans, following 2008′s ‘Perfectly Clear.’
